I guess his violent objections tired him out, too, because he fell asleep during our 2.5-mile, hour-long walk home. (There was a transit strike, so getting a taxi would have taken longer than walking.)

Owen continues his boycott of Santa's lap
This was as close as we got during last night's consulate Christmas party:
I guess his violent objections tired him out, too, because he fell asleep during our 2.5-mile, hour-long walk home. (There was a transit strike, so getting a taxi would have taken longer than walking.)

I LOVE this picture!
We haven't tried a picture with Santa this year, but I expect it would go something like this with Thomas.
ah yes, the ever present threat of an italian transportation strike. maybe next year will be owen's santa year.
Nick likes seeing Santa but has ZERO interest in sitting on his lap. Glad to know he is in good company!
When I think about sitting on a big man's lap that I don't know with a crazy white beard and hair and a fuzzy red suit...I'd run too! ;-)
My 5 year old is so not about sitting on Santa's lap. He'll stand next to him but that's about it.
