The girl is 10!

I know, I can't believe it either. It seems like just yesterday that I went into labor early on a Sunday morning (best excuse I've ever had for missing stake conference!) and had her that afternoon. With the help of an epidural, of course.
We celebrated with cake and present opening last night because this morning Laura left on a Girl Scout trip to Switzerland. She seemed a wee bit nervous -- it's her first multi-night stay away from us -- but more than happy to abandon us for her friends for a while. Which is as it should be, I guess.
So in honor of the birthday, I present Laura in Florence, complete with things I only can assume she was thinking at the time.

Hey, Mom, wanna look up my nose with Ponte Santa Trinita in the background?
Look, I'm on top of the Duomo! And Dad only had to carry me part of the way!
I didn't actually see any signs in Santa Croce that said No running. Did you?
I've just remembered that there were a couple of Flip videos she took while we were on top of the Campanile. If I can find that camera, I may post one of them on Facebook later.
Happy birthday to the Laura!
