A few weeks ago -- at a party at church -- Laura and Owen visited with Santa. We didn't get any good pictures, but here's a photo of one taken by our ward photographer:
Oh, and our tree. Our afterthought tree. Remember two years ago when our household effects didn't make it to Trinidad in time for Christmas and we bought a small fiber-optic tree? This year we're making do with a $20 one from Wal-Mart. We now own four Christmas trees on two continents. Kevin says the decorations on this are our prettiest ever, although I think it's all the glitter. This photo doesn't do it justice.
Merry Christmas, everyone. And may you remember it's not really all about cards or Santa or trees but the birth of Christ.
